Are You Willing?

Exodus 35:4-5:

4And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,

5Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

The word we will focus on is: WILLING.

The word WILL means “The faculty of determining ones actions, an intention, determination, voluntarily, completely without coercion or undue influence. By intention, not accidental, according to one’s own desire.

Exodus 25: 1-8

God dwelt in the tabernacle built from materials that people WILLINGLY gave. Yes, God expects us to pray, read our Bibles, pay tithes, obey His Word, attend Church, but He loves to see what we do because of our willingness to obey Him!

What happens when people are willing to give because of their love, adoration, reverence and respect for Jesus?

Exodus 35:21-35

1  Chronicles 28: 2-3, 1 Chronicles 28: 9-10, 1 Chronicles 28: 11-14

David was not going to get to see the completion of the temple, but that did not stop him from doing all he could do to prepare for the work to be accomplished.

David challenged the people! 1  Chronicles 29: 1-8

Exodus 32:36: 26Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Who is on the Lord’s Side? Let him come unto Me!
